KOH SAMUI REAL ESTATE
FOR FOREIGN OWNERSHIP
FOREIGN QUOTA is the most straightforward and widely used form of property ownership in Thailand for foreign buyers. Foreigners can purchase and own a condominium unit in their own name under a Freehold title. Under the Condominium Act, up to 49% of the total saleable area of a condominium project may be owned by foreign nationals. Ownership is officially registered at the Land Office and recorded directly in the buyer's name using a foreign passport.
